In-Person Sessions

In-person therapy provides a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and emotions in a supportive environment. In-person therapy can be especially beneficial for those who prefer a more traditional approach to therapy or who may not have access to reliable technology.

remote
sessions

Remote therapy offers a convenient and accessible way to access mental health support from the comfort of your own home. With advances in technology, you can connect with a therapist through secure video conferencing, providing greater privacy and flexibility to fit your needs.

Walk and
talk

Walk and talk therapy provides a unique and refreshing alternative to traditional therapy sessions, allowing clients to get outside and move while talking through their issues. This approach can promote a sense of relaxation and encourage deeper reflection and communication.

Services Provided

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By working one-on-one with a therapist, you can gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back and make positive changes to improve your mental health and wellbeing. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or other stressors, therapy can help you build resilience, develop coping skills, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion. With the support of a skilled therapist, you can overcome obstacles and achieve your goals, leading to a more fulfilling life.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy can be an effective way to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen your relationship. Whether you’re dealing with issues such as trust, infidelity, parenting, or simply feeling disconnected from each other, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to work through your concerns. A therapist can help you identify patterns of interaction that may be causing problems and teach you new strategies to foster a more positive dynamic. By learning to communicate effectively and understand each other’s perspectives, you can rebuild trust, enhance intimacy, and deepen your connection. Couples therapy can be an opportunity to strengthen your bond and create a more fulfilling relationship.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can help families navigate difficult transitions, manage conflicts, and improve communication. Whether you’re dealing with issues such as divorce, blended families, behavioral problems in children, or mental health concerns, therapy can provide a supportive and collaborative environment to work through challenges. A therapist can help family members understand each other’s perspectives, identify negative patterns of interaction, and learn new strategies to improve relationships. By working together, families can strengthen their bonds, learn to communicate more effectively, and build healthier relationships. Family therapy can be an opportunity to create a more supportive and harmonious family dynamic, and to foster individual growth and development.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can provide a unique and valuable experience for individuals seeking support and growth. In group therapy, participants have the opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar challenges, feel a sense of belonging and validation, and receive feedback and support from others. Additionally, group therapy can offer a safe and supportive environment for individuals to practice social skills, build self-confidence, and learn from others’ experiences. Group therapy can be particularly effective for individuals dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship difficulties, and trauma. By participating in a group therapy program, individuals can gain insight, build resilience, and improve their quality of life.

Treatment Specialties

Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity means there isn’t just one “right” way for a brain to work. People think, learn, communicate, and experience the world differently. Some move fast, some go deep, some notice everything, and some get distracted by a buzzing light across the room. Embracing neurodivergence means honoring both the strengths and challenges of being wired differently, without trying to “fix” who you are.

Depression

Depression has a way of draining color from everyday life. Things that used to feel easy can suddenly feel exhausting, and motivation can disappear without warning. It is not laziness or weakness. It is your brain struggling. With support, understanding, and the right tools, healing and hope are possible again.

Anxiety Disorder

Anxiety can manifest in many ways, from persistent worry and restlessness to moments of overwhelming panic. It can affect daily life, making it harder to focus, connect with others, or feel at ease. Understanding and managing anxiety is a journey, and recognizing its impact is the first step toward finding balance.

Grief & Loss

Grief and loss are inevitable parts of the human experience, yet they can be some of the most challenging emotions to navigate. Whether you're dealing with the death of a loved one, a significant life change, or any other form of loss, it's important to know that you're not alone. Grief is a normal and natural response to loss, but it can also feel overwhelming and isolating.

Relationships

Great relationships are not powered by magic, mind-reading, or perfectly timed romantic gestures. They are built through communication, effort, and choosing each other even when you are tired, distracted, or arguing about what counts as “clean.” Relationship therapy helps you strengthen what is already working, deepen connection, and keep your partnership supportive, fun, and resilient.

common questions

Therapy is a space where you can show up just as you are. You and your therapist will work together to figure out what’s going on, what matters most to you, and how you want to move forward. Some sessions might focus on challenges you’re facing, others on building strengths and finding new possibilities — all at your pace, in a way that feels right for you.

Most therapy sessions last 45-60 minutes. It’s enough time to check in, dig into whatever’s coming up, and make progress without feeling rushed. If you ever need something a little different, just let us know — we’re flexible.

We’re currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and Blue Cross Community Health plans. If you have a different insurance provider, we’re considered out-of-network — but we can give you a receipt (called a superbill) that you can send in for possible reimbursement. Every plan is different, so it’s a good idea to check with your insurance company to see what your out-of-network benefits look like. And if you have any questions, we’re always happy to help.

It really depends on what you’re looking for and what feels right for you. Most people start with weekly sessions to build some momentum, but we’ll figure out a schedule together that fits your needs, your goals, and your life. And it’s always flexible — we can adjust as we go.

Yes, everything you share in therapy is 100% confidential. The only exceptions are very rare situations where we’re legally required to break confidentiality, like if someone’s safety is at risk. But that’s something we’d always discuss with you first. Your privacy and trust are our top priorities.

You can schedule a therapy appointment by contacting our office by phone or email. You can also click here to be taken to our contact page. We’ll work with you to find an appointment time that works for your schedule.

We offer a range of therapy services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. We also specialize in various areas, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and nerodiversity.

Or standard fee is $185 for a 60 minute session and $145 for a 45 minute session. If you have health insurance that covers mental health services, you may only be responsible for a copay or coinsurance for each session. The amount of the copay or coinsurance will depend on your insurance plan. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover mental health services, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of each session out of pocket.

The number of sessions you’ll need really depends on what you’re working on and what feels right for you. Some people find they can make progress in just a few sessions, while others may choose to continue for longer to dive deeper or work through bigger challenges. We’ll check in together along the way to make sure you’re getting the support you need, and adjust as necessary.

The best way to prepare is to come as you are. It’s totally normal to feel nervous or unsure at first — we’re here to create a safe, welcoming space for you. You don’t need to have everything figured out, but it can help to think about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on. Feel free to bring any questions you have, and we’ll guide the conversation from there.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact our office as soon as possible. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we’ll work with you to find a new appointment time that works for you. Please note that we have a cancellation policy, and you may be charged a fee for missed appointments without adequate notice.
